By booking any service on this website I agree, understand and acknowledge that Lotus Healing Massage & Wellness LLC & Natasha, do not make any guarantees about the health benefits of the Massage Therapy session itself or the results of the information applied on this website. Lotus Healing Massage & Wellness shares educational and informational resources that are intended to help me succeed in wellness & coaching areas. I acknowledge that my ultimate results will be unique to my particular situation, my own effort, and innumerable other circumstances beyond the therapist's knowledge and control. 

 

Natasha of Lotus Healing Massage & Wellness LLC is not a medical doctor. As a Licensed Massage Therapist, and a Wellness & Life Coach  she is NOT providing medical services or attempting to diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any physical, mental, or emotional issue.

 

The information provided on this website or in any emails or sessions is for informational purposes only and is not intended to substitute professional medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment. I agree that I should always seek advice from my physician or other qualified healthcare provider before undertaking a new health regimen.

 

I agree that I will NOT disregard medical advice or delay seeking medical advice because of information I read on this website or receive in any other way from Lotus Healing Massage & Wellness and/or Natasha, or through email correspondence with Lotus Healing Massage & Wellness LLC and/or Natasha. I will NOT start or stop any medications without speaking to my medical or mental health provider. 

 

I also agree that I am over the age of 18 years old and am of the age to set up booking sessions for my own wellness and self care. 

Natasha of Lotus Healing Massage & Wellness adheres to a stringent code of ethics & maintains professional standards for her clients and massage therapy sessions, which means she:

 

  • Has a sincere commitment to provide the highest quality of care to those who seek their professional services.

  • Represents her qualifications honestly, including education,  and provides only those services that she is qualified to perform.

  • Accurately informs clients, other health care practitioners, and the public of the scope and limitations of their discipline.

  • Acknowledges the limitations of and contraindications for massage and bodywork and refer clients to appropriate health professionals.

  • Consistently maintains and improves professional knowledge and competence, striving for professional excellence through regular assessment of personal and professional strengths and weaknesses and through continued education training.

  • Conducts her business and professional activities with honesty and integrity, and respect the inherent worth of all persons.

  • Refuses to unjustly discriminate against clients and/or health professionals on the basis of race, gender, religion etc. 

  • Safeguards the confidentiality of all client information, unless disclosure is requested by the client in writing, is medically necessary, is required by law, or necessary for the protection of the public.

  • Respects the client's right to treatment with informed and voluntary consent. The certified practitioner will obtain and record the informed consent of the client, or client's advocate, before providing treatment. This consent may be written or verbal.

  • Respects the client's right to refuse, modify or terminate treatment regardless of prior consent given.

  • Provides draping and treatment in a way that ensures the safety, comfort and privacy of the client.

  • Exercises the right to refuse to treat any person or part of the body for just and reasonable cause, including safety concerns.

  • Refrains, under all circumstances, from initiating or engaging in any sexual conduct, sexual activities, or sexualizing behavior involving a client, even if the client attempts to sexualize the relationship unless a pre-existing relationship exists between an applicant or a practitioner and the client prior to the applicant or practitioner applying to be certified by NCBTMB.

  • Respect the client's boundaries with regard to privacy, disclosure, exposure, emotional expression, beliefs and the client's reasonable expectations of professional behavior.

  • Practitioners will respect the client's autonomy.

  • Follows the NCBTMB Standards of Practice, this Code of Ethics, and keeps her Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) License in good standing, with CEU's approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork.

Natasha & Lotus Healing Massage & Wellness LLC reserve the right to refuse or block anyone of service, especially on the grounds of safety & professional conduct. No payment for Massage therapy is accepted online, and card information is only used in case of canceling less than 24 hours from appointment, and no-shows.
